During Your Stay
The Knutsford Suite is able to meet the individual needs of mothers by offering a choice of private consultant led care or NHS ante-natal care and NHS delivery, and private postnatal care.
For those babies born too early, or requiring extra care, immediate access is available to our level 2 Neonatal Unit with an expert paediatric team.
In the unlikely event of complications, the unit has the reassurance and support of being part of a large general hospital with 24 hour access to medical and surgical care. This includes the brand new Acute Admissions Unit; the largest of its kind in the country offering immediate emergency treatment, assessment and diagnosis from a team of dedicated consultants.
During your stay we will provide you with the following items:
- Sanitary towels
- Disposable nappies
- Baby blankets
- Towels
- Cotton wool
- Bath toiletries
We suggest you bring the following items of a personal nature:
- Nightclothes
- Dressing gown
- Slippers
- Personal toiletries
- Any medication you are taking
